End of Life Services

The end of a life
is not the end
of the story.

Compassionate end of life doula support in Melbourne, for people navigating one of life's most significant passages.

What is an End of Life Doula?

An end of life doula offers non-medical, non-clinical support to people who are approaching the end of life, and to the people who love them. This is not counselling or clinical care, but a compassionate presence that sits alongside the medical and professional support already in place, filling the spaces in between.

It might look like listening to someone who needs to talk, helping a family understand what to expect, or simply being a calm and steady presence when everything feels uncertain.

The services below are what I offer most often, but every situation is different. If you're not sure whether I can help, please reach out, and if I'm not the right person, I'll do my best to point you toward someone who is.

Navigating end of life can make thinking about finances feel overwhelming. Cost should never be a barrier to this kind of support. I offer flexible, sliding scale pricing based on individual circumstances and needs. Please get in touch and we can talk through what might work for you.

How I can support you

Support and Planning

Thinking about end of life planning can feel overwhelming. Knowing where to begin isn't always easy, whether you are the one facing this journey or someone who loves them.

I can walk alongside you through the paperwork and the practicalities, yes, but also through the conversations that are harder to have. I can guide you toward the right services, accompany you to appointments, and help you connect with the professionals who can best support you.

Sometimes, what's needed most is simply someone to talk to. Someone who is comfortable in this space, who will listen without rushing you, and who is genuinely honoured to be there.

This support is about bringing clarity and calm to the process, so that everyone touched by this journey can feel more prepared and less alone.

Legacy Writing

For some people, the end of life is a time of reflection, a moment to look back, honour their journey, and leave something meaningful behind.

Legacy writing can include life story writing for those who feel drawn to capturing their memories and reflections in a gentle, supported way. It can also be something more personal and intimate, like letters to the people you love.

Shared Memory Collections

Memory collections are created by spending time with your family, friends, and community as they celebrate your life and the moments that mattered most. I gently gather their stories, reflections, and favourite memories, and weave them together into a meaningful legacy document.

This can take place while you are still with us, allowing you to share in the stories. It can also be created after your death, offering your people a way to preserve collective memories and connection as part of the farewell process.
